DNA of Design
We were fortunate to collaborate with Deb & Andy from The Block on an outdoor space project in Mudgeeraba, Queensland. The objective was to transform an 80's Gold Coast hinterland home into a modern coastal sanctuary. Our team had the pleasure of constructing a curved outdoor seating area centred around a fire pit and a poolside lounge. Curved Seating & BBQ
One of our most popular designs is a classic brick outdoor fireplace tailored to each client's preferences and available space. Although every fireplace we create is uniquely designed, this style features wood storage underneath and tables on each side, offering a perfect blend of form and function for outdoor gatherings.

Custom Pool (Block & Concrete)
A client approached us with the ambitious vision of constructing a swimming pool, that I was not sure we could do initially.
After some research, designing and engineering, we devised a plan to turn their dream pool into reality. The process began with the client overseeing the excavation, after which we laid a concrete base and erected core-filled block walls to form the pool's perimeter, seamlessly incorporating the plumbing within this block-work.
We further enhanced the pool's functionality and aesthetic appeal by constructing block and concrete stairs and a side seat. This project was met with overwhelming satisfaction from the clients, reflecting our shared pride in the realisation of this ambitious project.
Custom Concrete Benchtop
After Mark reached out to me, he presented a design that we further refined, adding the perfect finishing touches. The old brick BBQ area was dismantled, and I took care of removing all the discarded bricks. Then, it was time for some organisation!
I gathered the necessary materials and laid down the new bricks, forming the sturdy foundation of our design. Next came the creation of the concrete bench tops. These were not just poured but also polished to a shiny finish, ensuring a sleek look. The final step was the installation of the BBQ spit. And there you have it, our custom-made brick BBQ with spit. A perfect blend of function and design!
